If you feel that your life is too full to make a regular ministry commitment, here are some "once a month" opportunities you might consider:
Altar Guild – We are looking for individuals who can clean up the altar area after the 10:00am service by taking items back to the sacristy, cleaning them, and putting them away for next week. You will be trained in the proper way to clean and store the items.
Book Store/Scrip – We are looking for individuals to take Scrip orders, distribute Scrip cards, and sell items from the Book Store (in the Library) after either the 8:00 service or the 10:00 service.
Buildings and Grounds – We are looking for individuals who can devote 2-3 hours of their time once a month to do some weeding, tending to the garden areas, or perhaps polishing the pews.
CHAP Café - We are looking for individuals who can volunteer for one Thursday evening a month to help host our CHAP Café. We currently host the event on odd months (January, March, May, etc.) All you need to do is bring a main dish, side dish, salad, or dessert to share -- and then stay and eat with the CHAP participants and other volunteers. There is great camaraderie among all those who attend!
Fellowship – We are looking for individuals who can set-up the 10:00 coffee hour by making coffee, putting water in pitchers, placing cups/glasses/plates/napkins on the table in the Parish Hall. (If food is provided, it will be brought and set up by someone else.)
Hunger Ministry – We are looking for someone to help with food preparation and serving on the fourth Tuesday afternoon of each month.
Laundry Love - We are looking for volunteers to help with our Laundry Love events, normally on the fourth Wednesday of each month. Those who volunteer already say that it is always an enjoyable time!
Usher – We are looking for persons who are willing to serve as usher either during the 8:00am service or the 10:00am service.
Other special opportunities:
